CONFIDENCE IN THE LOVE OF GOD

ROMANS 8:31-32 (GNB), JOHN 4:16 (TPT) …what can we say? If God is for us, who can be against us? Certainly not God, who did not even keep back his own Son, but offered him for us all! He gave us his Son—will he not also freely give us all things? *We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us. God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them. 

One of the benefits of always being deeply conscious of the love of God for you is that it produces great confidence in your heart. One of such confidence is that as your Father, God will surely take care of you and supply your needs, (Matt.7:11). If God could give you His best gift and provide for your salvation while you were a sinner and His enemy, what do you think He cannot freely give you or do for you now that you are His beloved child? (Rom.5:8-10).

Another confidence you have is the confidence of God’s presence with you and His being on your side. This is your guarantee of divine direction, protection, supply and success in life. God wants you to always be confident of His love and presence with you. God the Father kept on declaring that Jesus is His Beloved Son (Matt.3:17, Matt.17:5) and Jesus kept on declaring that He was not alone and God the Father was with Him, (John 8:16&29, John 16:32).

The more you know someone, the more you have confidence in them. The love of God motivates us to draw near to Him and to know Him. The more we know Him, the more we have confidence in Him and His love. God wants us to remain in His love, (Jude 1:21). Never allow any situation make you doubt the great love God has for you.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank you that because of your great love for me, you are always with me and you will always take care of me.
