CONSTANT PRAISE (1)

Psalms 34:1 (KJV, GNB, CEV, NLT)
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. I will always thank the LORD; I will never stop praising him. I will always praise the LORD. I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace.

Constance is something that does not change. It is a phenomenon whose state is not affected or changed by the changes or fluctuations of any other factor. Praise is something that should be constant in our lives. Praise, worship and thanksgiving to God are things that should be constantly welling up from our hearts to God at all times. For this to happen, our minds must constantly be filled with the revelation of the love and goodness of God towards us in Christ. If our praise depends on our circumstances or mood, it will become a variable or something that we will do only sometimes.

God’s love for us is always constant, it is unconditional and beyond what we can intellectually fathom, (Eph.3:17-19). God has loved us with an everlasting love, (Jer.31:3). Psalms 118:28-29 says, “Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” God is always good. God does not have mood swings. Even when God chastises us, He does it because of His great love for us. The Bible says, “Sing praise to the LORD, all his faithful people! Remember what the Holy One has done, and give him thanks! His anger lasts only a moment, his goodness for a lifetime. Tears may flow in the night, but joy comes in the morning,” (Psa.30:4-5, GNB).
