CORRECTION AND COMMENDATION

Continuous correction without occasional commendation will lead to demoralization, frustration, and condemnation.

When someone does well, he should be given a deserved commendation so that whenever he does wrong he could be appropriately corrected.

With commendation in place, correction is taken with an understanding of care and interest.

It’s important to introduce a balance between correction and commendation so as to avoid frustration and reactions that may lead to resentments and a total breakdown of relationship.
