TEXT: “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. ” Prov. 6 :6 – 8.

MESSAGE
Several believers also make the costly mistake of thinking they can waste today and gain tomorrow. When they are supposed to attend to their responsibilities today, they give one excuse or the other, they forget that a prosperous tomorrow is a function of a responsible today. They forget that a prosperous tomorrow is not only wished for but worked for by the application of the wisdom of GOD, by doing the right thing at the he right time.

Many instead of engaging their hands to work and allow God bless the works of their hands are busy commanding those working to favour them and pay their bills. Donʼt get me wrong, I am not against praying for favour or against praying for helpers into oneʼs life. No! I am an advocate of them but you do that while doing the assignment God has created you to do. You do that while engaging your hands to work, not being idle. God gives provision to workable visions. A man on assignment attracts helpers. So you are supposed to obey scripture by doing the right thing at the right time because Godʼs word says, “To everything there is season, and a time….a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted” Eccl. 3 :1 – 2… So when the time to sow, arise and sow so you can have what to harvest. It pains my heart seeing vibrant youths and teenagers wasting their today by not studying anymore in schools or engaging in legal trades and businesses, learning skills that can fetch them good returns. Whoever waste today loses tomorrow. Life can only give you what you put into it. To live extravagantly today beyond your means, not planning for tomorrow, is to beg to eat tomorrow.
I pray for you, may time not teach you a bitter lesson.
