Count your Blessings
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name.” –
The subscript of this PSALM says it is a song of thanksgiving or giving grateful praise. Have you discovered that praise flows best from a grateful heart? That’s why it is such a great idea to do what the classic “Thanksgiving Hymn” suggests – “count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done.”

During this season, I trust you will do just that – make time to reflect on what God has done in your life. That way, you won’t just be passing the food to others on Thanksgiving Day, you’ll be passing God’s goodness and blessings, too.
