“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”John 6:63 KJV
I once read a story of a lady who, during the World War, when everywhere was being bombed in her country of residence, chose to leverage on the Word of God. Amid the chaos and uncertainty, she dared to believe God’s Word. She simply said, “I cannot help myself. I do not know where to go. But I believe that He who keeps me does not slumber nor sleep. A thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come near me.” There was chaos all over the place and everywhere was leveled. But she came out! And they asked her how she did it. She told them: “I believe that He who keeps me does not slumber nor sleep. A thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come near me.” That was how God preserved her!
The Word of God is true. His Word is Spirit and life. As a believer, don’t ever minimize God’s Word. The Word of God is not a mere word. They are  Words that Jehovah Himself spoke. They are not ordinary words!  The Word of God overrules fear and every uncertainty. In the world today, there is fear everywhere. The world is bandying fear all over the place. When you take a look at social media, fear is all over the place. Nowadays, you do not even know what to eat or drink. One does not know what air to breathe. Everything is creating fear. But I believe firmly in God’s Word which says that if I drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt me. He knew that we would come into these last days when men would be fearful.
Beloved, we are not in the company of those who cook fear. God surely knows how to separate the righteous from the attacks in the world. Storms may be raging around you, but He will single you out for preservation. Only believe in the Word of God and all His promises concerning you.
His Word is infallible. His Word is impregnable. There is power in the Word of God. You can stake your life on His Word.  His Word will surely produce in your life. Dare to believe it!
