Defeated Already

BIBLE READING: 1 Samuel 28-29

TEXT: “And he said unto them, I beheld satan as lightening fall from heaven.”
Luke 10 :18.

When you know this of the devil that he is defeated already, you will go into battle with the winner’s mentality. You are not on the same realm with the devil. No way! The devil is under your feet in the realm of the spirit (Rom. 16 :20).

You are far above seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph. 2 :6.

When Jesus defeated the devil, triumphing over him and his angels in battle (Col. 2 :15), He raised the redeemed with Him to where He is seated at the right hand of God in the heavenly places (Eph. 1 :20) and the defeated devil who was cast to the earth (Rev.12 :9 – 10) remained below now under our feet where he is destined to be bruised.

Right from creation after the fall of man in Genesis chapter 3, the position where the devil will be crushed was declared. God said to the serpent, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between they seed and her seed; it shall bruised they head, and thou shall bruise his heel.” vs 15. So the devil is limited in what he dare. His place is under your feet. Where he is limited and destined to always be defeated.

David declared in Psalms 110 :1; which was also repeated in Matthew 22 :44; “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” And you are seated with Christ whose victory you are fighting from.

Why do you give the devil a higher position? God is committed in bruising satan in his defeated position under your feet as Romans 16 :20; states, “And the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly…”

Do you want to be the more than conqueror that you are reigning in the victory of Christ?
Then place the devil in the position he should be in that battle because he is defeated already.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, from this day forward, I place satan in his defeated position.
