DEVELOP A HOLY AUDACITY

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1 KJV

Righteousness was what made Moses bold to demand of Pharaoh: “let my people go.” That was the same man who had earlier run away from Egypt. What had changed? He got hold of a revelation. He understood that he was connected to Jehovah. He knew that if God be for him, no one could stand against him; not even Pharaoh! Eventually, Pharaoh had to let Moses and the children of Israel go.

Righteousness is what emboldened Joshua, a mortal man to look at the sun and the moon and say: “stand still! I have not finished fighting yet. I wouldn’t want a partial victory.” A mortal man spoke to elements and they obeyed. What is the storm raging around you? Every storm around you is silenced. You will have a 100 percent victory!

Elijah had no pedigree. Nothing was known about his background; yet, he came out from nowhere in 1 Kings 17 and proclaimed that there shall be no rain until he changed his mind. For 3 years, there was no rain. However, God made necessary arrangements to keep him. No matter the famine in the land, there would always be necessary arrangements for you. Later on he made another proclamation in 2 Kings 7:1: “…Thus saith the LORD, tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria” (KJV). That is the righteousness of God speaking. It is a holy audacity. In short, he was saying, “I have accessed the presence of God and I know what He has perfected in eternity.” As a believer, be audacious in the righteousness of God.

As this year rolls to an end, what are you declaring? What demand are you making? Will you just fold your hands and watch the devil eat your lunch? Beloved, I challenge you to arise with a holy audacity and take all that belongs to you. This year will end in praise for you.
