Memorise: Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; – Romans 12:6

Bible Reading: Romans 12:13-16

  1. Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
  2. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
  3. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
  4. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Bible Reading In One Year: Esther 1-2; Esther 3:1-15, Acts 5:1-42

MESSAGE:

The principles of the Kingdom and that of the world are opposites. For instance, you may need to wait in God’s presence praying before making any decision, but to the world, that is waste of time. But the fact is when you wait patiently in His presence, God knows how to take you far above the heights your abilities can take you. By the time the people of the world succeed in climbing their first mountain, you would already be on your seventh.

Beloved, there is nothing as profiting as living your life by God’s principles. The ways of the world might seem wise and smart, like cheating in an exam will look smart, but 1 Corinthians 2:7 says:

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.”

The world will call you a fool when you choose to live right, but that decision of yours will lead to your glory, and it is only a matter of time before everyone will see it. Jesus is all you need to get ahead, focus on Him and the outcome of your life will show who the smart one really is.

Action Point:

The principles you live by will determine the outcome of your life.

Hymn: Take My Life , And Let It Be

  1. Take my life and let it be
    Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
    Take my moments and my days,
    Let them flow in ceaseless praise.
  2. Take my hands and let them move
    At the impulse of Thy love;
    Take my feet and let them be
    Swift and beautiful for Thee.
  3. Take my voice and let me sing
    Always, only for my King;
    Take my lips and let them be
    Filled with messages from Thee.
  4. Take my silver and my gold
    Not a mite would I withhold;
    Take my intellect and use
    Every power as Thou shalt choose.
  5. Take my will and make it
    Thine It shall be no longer mine;
    Take my heart, it is Thine own
    It shall be Thy royal throne.
  6. Take my love, my Lord, I pour
    At Thy feet its treasure store.
    Take myself and I will be
    Ever, only, all for Thee.
