DO GOOD

‘’How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.’’

Acts 10:38 KJV

The reason for the Holy Ghost is for you to do good. You are called to do good in the society. As a driver, an accountant, doctor, lawyer, dress designer or whatever field, you are called to do good.

Mordecai informed Esther of the treachery of Haman and urged her to do something. “Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people” (Esther 4:8 KJV). But Esther had forgotten the reason why she was made the queen. Just like many believers have forgotten that they were saved to do good. They have failed to realize that they were elevated to positions to do good.

Do you still remember the marvellous thing He has done for you? It was so that you could extend it to others. Yet, you are sitting there doing nothing. You are saved, your spouse is saved, and your children are saved. But, what about the person you meet on the street? How good are you to them? If you refuse to yield yourself as an instrument to do good, God will still do what He wants to do but you will miss out on His plan and purpose for your life. “…And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14 KJV).

Child of God, the Lord has gifted you. He has given you the money you have, He gave you the talents you have, your abilities and He has given you the investment you have. He gave them to you to invest into the kingdom for such a time as this. It is not just about yourself.
