DON’T ARGUE WITH THE WORD OF GOD

“Nevertheless, the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.” Acts27:11 KJVThe Word of God is not to be argued with. It is meant to be obeyed. We need to have a trust relationship with God and His word. The man of God was telling them God said that the journey will be dangerous, but they said no. They believed the ship captain and the master. “And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also”…(Acts 27:12 KJV)We often opt for popular opinion or say let us vote to know which one we are going to do.  Child of God, the Word of God is not meant to be argued. It is meant to be obeyed. If you must function by faith, then know that God’s Word is not meant to be argued. It should be appealing to your spirit, not to your thinking. Your spirit would now educate your thinking. The Word first hits your spirit because the Bible says the Word of God is spirit and life. So, it addresses your spirit then your spirit will educate your mind because sometimes when you are reading or hearing the word of God, it doesn’t make sense. Sometimes you cannot add it together but what you need to do is to believe. That is why the Bible says, all things are possible to him that believes. If you can believe all things are possible.Mary said how can this be, seeing I know not a man? She did not doubt; she believed! But she just wanted to understand more. But Zachariah doubted! He said how can I know. In other words, prove it to me first. Just like Thomas, I want to put my hand before I believe!  And God saw that Zachariah was going to abort the miracle, then He shut his mouth. Some of our mouths need to be shut so that we can receive what God has packaged. Further Reading:  Luke 1:11-20, 34-38Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Psalms 135-136; Evening- 1 Corinthians 12
