DON’T BE ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16 KJV

The reason many believers are not seeing God’s miracles is that they do not have boldness. They hide their Bibles when circumstances are against them. Sometimes, people ask them “where are you going? In order to look dignified, they’ll lie when on the contrary, they’re actually going to church. Child of God, you are ashamed to say that you are going to church, yet you want the Grace of God to rest upon you. It doesn’t work that way. Growing up, we were not ashamed to carry the Bible, whether big or portable.  It was a fashionable thing to recite the scriptures. But today, the enemy is silencing your voice.

The most important factor in the Christian faith is Christ. Never be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:1-2 KJV).

The Sanhedrin ordered Peter and John not to preach in the name of Jesus. “And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus” (Acts 4:18 KJV).

In other words, they can preach but not in the name of Jesus. The issue is not when you talk about God, but once Jesus enters into it, you become a target. Beloved, never allow people to intimidate you.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. No matter what, be bold to declare that you are a believer because the believer is His authorized agent here on earth. They refer to you as ‘these speaking in tongues people.’ As a result of that, you no more speak in tongues. Don’t be ashamed to speak in tongues. It is your power!
