Don’t Leave This Gift Unopened

“And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”

Luke 2:12

Christmas is all about gifts! But what if you sacrificed everything to give me a Christmas gift that was priceless, and that was personalized just for me? What if I took your gift and just put it over in a corner, and didn’t unwrap it. What would you think of me?

Let’s be honest. God has given this world the gift that is beyond all gifts – His Son, Jesus Christ. He came, as the Scripture says, gift-wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

When you receive God’s special gift, do you know what happens? Your past is forgiven, you have a new purpose in life, and you have a home that is prepared for you in Heaven. This Christmas, don’t put aside this most magnificent gift of Jesus. Don’t let another Christmas go by without receiving God’s precious gift that is not only priceless – it has your name on it!
