DON’T LET THE DEVIL PUSH YOU AROUND.

“One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:4 (KJV)For David, there is only one thing that sums up his entire life and his kingship. Intimacy with God! David said one thing have I desired and that is what I am seeking after. “……To live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple”(NLT)And then he says: “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me……”(Psalm 27:5-6 KJV)Why? This is because there are things you know that the devil will not knowIn Psalm 91:1, the Psalmist says: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”(KJV)Then, because you are hiding there, you begin to see some things which others don’t know. Then you will say of the Lord: “He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. This is because you have found out that when you  chose Him  the devil is finished.Beloved, until  you know some things you will  be a cheap victim in the hands of the devil. And that is not God’s plan for you. It is an abomination for a believer to be pushed here and there by the devil. It is an insult to the finished work of Christ because we are the redeemed. We belong to the Father! We do not belong to the devil. Also we cannot remain in slavery and in captivity. That is not the will of God for our lives. There are things we must not tolerate and there are things we can tolerate in our lives.A courier comes to your house with a parcel that is not yours, what do you do?  You will return it. So why are you collecting parcels that are not yours? When the devil comes with his parcels, tell him to pass. It is not for you. Parcels of sickness, poverty, frustration, intimidation, defeat, and failure are not yours. Tell the courier: “Wrong address”. They are not for you.Further Reading.
