“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” Titus 2:11-12
Grace is not a license to live in sin. Grace teaches us to live for Christ. You can’t be living anyhow and telling people you are living under grace. No!  Another spirit is leading you. Not grace! It is another spirit! We’ve got to watch it! It is very important that you don’t live in sin because like I said yesterday, sin has wages!

Wages means payment of contract or salary. It is maintenance, compensation or reward. It is a pay. It is a return you receive. Yes, you have eternal life! You are saved! Yes, God loves you unconditionally! Yes, he will not stop loving you. But when you decide that you will continue to live in sin, sin will pay you while God is still loving you.  It will pay you because sin has wages.
Let’s take it a step further. In the book of Genesis 3:8, when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they found out that they were naked. They heard the voice of the Lord, God walking in the garden in the cool of the day and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord, among the trees of the garden. They have sinned. They did what God said they shouldn’t do. These were people who were throwing their weight around like God and controlling the whole earth. Then, suddenly they were deceived into believing another thing concerning themselves and so they disobeyed. But in their disobedience God still came to them. He will never leave you nor forsake you. God never left them. He didn’t abandon them.
However, they lost their place in the garden. They lost their boldness before God. And they began to hide from God. When you begin to live a life of sin, you will start hiding from God. Your love for God will become cold. His love for you will still be hot but your love for Him will be cold. That is what happens. And because your love is cold, you will no more be bold.
