DONT PANIC: YOUR MIRACLE WILL NOT DIE

“And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out.” 2 Kings 4:21 (KJV)

According to the account in 2 Kings chapter 4, God visited the Shunammite woman through the prophetic word spoken by prophet Elisha. However, soon after the manifestation, the miracle developed a problem. At times, there are some miracles that God has given you and suddenly a challenge develops. The child grew up, suddenly became sick then died.

“And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers. And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. And when he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon and then died. And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out” (2Kings 4:18-21 KJV).

Some people in her situation would cry and run from pillar to post. They would call neighbours and alert every person. They would say I didn’t ask the man of God for a miracle. Now he has given me one and the devil has come to strike. God, why should this happen to me? That is what some people will do and before you know it fear and discouragement will creep in. But not this woman. She simply refused to shake.

Your story will not end in shame. It will end in glory. Your Father is such a master craft man and a master planner. Stop even imagining that it will not end well because the end has already been determined from the beginning. Whatever the devil has prepared and said is for you, I declare that it will never work. In their very eyes, you will disappoint their prophecies. Your mouth will testify. God is the one who decided to give you the miracle, therefore Satan cannot abort it. Your testimony will not die.
