DONT REMAIN IGNORANT

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6 KJVSatan operates very strongly in our areas of ignorance. When he sees people that act ignorantly he enjoys it and celebrates. You can see him calling a party in his domain and saying this one is ignorant. He says, don’t worry, let him be going to church. Just let him be ignorant.God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 6:3 goes on to say: “Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: ……”Your assignment is to follow on. It is not what you do half-way and stop. You have to make it your desire and your passion. I want to know what this Jesus did for me and what is it about following Jesus. You know, for some of us, all we have received about giving our life to Christ is that we are made ready to go to heaven. But you are poor in this life and you are living a defeated, disappointed and   frustrated life.  You are discouraged and depressed! Christianity is not supposed to be depressed life. No! It is a life of joy. But this happens because you are ignorant. You don’t know who you are and what belongs to you.Do you know that God has promised to take care of you? He has promised to pay your bills and to take care of your children. He says your children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children. (Isaiah 54:13)  So a believer has no business wondering whether the child is going to turn out well or not. There is no way they won’t turn out well because we brought them up in the church. So, if you like to travel to America or travel to Egypt, great shall be the peace of your children, for they shall be taught of the Lord. You can only walk in this confidence if you truly know it. It is not head knowledge, it is rhema. So take time to study the word so you can take all that grace has made available to you.Further Reading: Ephesians 1:15-22, Colossians 1:9-11Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Jeremiah 34-36; Evening- Hebrews 2
