DON’T TOLERATE ANYTHING THAT WILL MAKE YOU QUIT.

“And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.” Genesis 40:4 KJV

Joseph was minding his business in his father’s house when God came to him and decided to lift him up. He gave him a dream of greatness- something he never asked for. When Joseph told his brethren, they said, “let’s see what becomes of your dream. We will not allow you!”

Beloved, when God allows you, no power can stop you. Never tolerate distractions or anything that will make you quit your dreams. Afterwards, Joseph’s brothers put him in the pit and sold him to slave merchants. When he got to Egypt, the chief of staff took him in and he became in charge of the household. Then from there, they lied against him and imprisoned him. In the prison, the jailer put Joseph in charge. Anywhere he went, he was in charge. There was an anointing of authority upon his life. May that anointing rest upon you. You will never be below. Above only is your place in Christ.

You see, when you know your place in Christ, you don’t have an attitude simply because there is a problem. Joseph just kept on interpreting dreams without complaining. He knew his anointing and he just stayed there. He refused to be distracted. He didn’t allow his challenges to stop him. There are some believers who are gifted and anointed but allow offenses to distract them. God has impacted you in different places of anointing but because somebody stepped on your toes wrongly, you become offended and decide to leave the church. Wrong! If God also thought that way, would you be saved?

Do you know how many abuses Jesus went through? But He still stood, knowing that the way up is the way down. That you are descending as a child of God does not mean that’s your end. The way God operates is different from man. Keep standing! Keep serving! Never allow anything to distract you. He that has begun a good work in your life will perfect it.
