Everyday is Monday!

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Psalms 118:24

Have you ever planned to start working out, eating right, being more consistent in daily Bible reading and prayer, or creating more positive habits and routines? If so, how quickly did the words “I’ll start on Monday” creep into your mind? It’s what I refer to as the “someday syndrome.” Our verse says This is the day. In other words, this day is the proverbial Monday God has created as a day of beginning, or beginning again. This is the day – and this is the only day – for which God has given us His grace and strength. So don’t miss it. Don’t put off until tomorrow what you should do today … because this is the day the Lord has made. Don’t waste it, walk through it rejoicing and filled with gladness… because He has made this day just for you!
