[For it is He] Who rescued and saved us from such a perilous death, and He will still rescue and save us; in and on Him we have set our hope (our joyful and confident expectation) that He will again deliver us.— 2 Corinthians 1:10 (AMPC)
Godly expectation and anxiety are the exact opposites. A sense of expectation assumes God is going to do something good; anxiety assumes that the worst is going to happen.
I encourage you to expect God’s goodness instead of being anxious that things won’t work out. When we live with positive anticipation, it produces joy and opens the door for God’s best in our lives.
God is good, and He wants us to expect Him to be good to us (see Isaiah 30:18). God is waiting to help us with everything we need to do in life. All He wants is to be invited to help us. Put your hope and expectation in God’s promises and be excited to see what He will do in your life today and every day.
Prayer Starter: Thank You for Your goodness and thank You in advance for all the good things You have planned for me. In Jesus’ name, amen
