EXPRESS THE LIFE OF GOD’S KINGDOM
ISAIAH 60:1 (NKJV), ROMANS 14:17-18 (TPT)
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. *For the kingdom of God is not a matter of rules about food and drink, but is in the realm of the Holy Spirit, filled with righteousness, peace, and joy. Serving the Anointed One by walking in these kingdom realities pleases God and earns the respect of others.
We are living as lights in a world full of darkness. The Bible clearly refers to the devil as the god of this world (1Cor.4:4) and the prince of this world (John 14:30). While the world is living in sin because they are under the influence of the devil, we live righteously because we are under the influence of Christ and the Spirit of God, (1John 5:18-19).
We are different. We belong to a different kingdom and we have a different set of realities.

We are the light to this dark world and we shine brightly in the midst of it. We are not hopeless and in darkness like the world. We carry the hope and light of the world. That hope and light is the life and power of Jesus that we have in us. We are in this present world to shine as Jesus in order to bring others out of darkness and into the marvelous light of Jesus. We are Ambassadors of Christ and citizens of the kingdom of God and God wants everyone around us to see the light and life of Christ and His kingdom in us. God does not want us to join the people of the world to live in sin or to complain about things. He wants us to shine in the midst of the darkness and hopelessness around us. He wants us to show those around us how things exist in our kingdom. This is why He has given us His Spirit to help us understand and manifest the life and realities of His Kingdom.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank you that by the life of Christ in me and the help of the Holy Spirit, I can shine for you and give hope to others
