“But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.”
Matthew 15:23 KJV

Faith must be insistent. If you can believe, Jesus will come through for you. My mind goes to the woman of Canaan that came to Jesus. It is recorded in Matthew 15:21-28. Jesus didn’t answer her and then the next thing He said was that it is not good to give the bread of the children to the dogs.’ Yet the woman kept on coming. And though it was not time for the Gentiles, Jesus had to change the rule. I believe that the rule is about to change for you today.

The book of Mark 5:35 declares: “While He yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, thy daughter is dead, why troublest the Master any further?” This was the case of the daughter of Jairus that Jesus had set out to heal, and news came in that she was dead and it was all over. “As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, only believe”(Mark 5:36).

When Jesus got to the house, He announced to everyone: “…The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth” (Mark 5:39).

Beloved, whatever you have considered dead and impossible in your life is really alive. It is not over for you. The case is not closed. The Father is still on your case.

The folks in the household of Jairus laughed Jesus to scorn. “But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha Cumi; which is being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway, the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment”(Mark 5:40-42).
As long as Jesus is on your case, you should never quit.
