FAITH WORKS WITH PATIENCE

“And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end; that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

Hebrews 6:11-12(KJV)

God is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent. Any promise he makes to you is a done deal because He intends to fulfil it. Often, we let go of our faith because we do not release the force of patience. You need patience while waiting for your manifestation.

Let us look at James 1:2-4, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, and that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (KJV). When trouble comes your way, consider it an opportunity. When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So, let it grow. When your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect, wanting nothing. You will not need that thing any longer because it would have been done. What the enemy told you can never happen because of the symptoms and the pressure he brought against you; he will find out that it has happened.

Hebrews 6:12 admonishes: “…. that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” It is not just faith. It is through faith and patience. Some of us exercise faith now but because there is no patience, we let go of faith. God did not say because you exercised faith when you prayed, then everything is alright. No! Your faith must be sustained by patience until the manifestation of the promise. It is like the girder that strengthens the bridge across the water. Patience helps you to keep flying while the bombarding is going on. It helps you to keep on flying and rejoicing. Somehow, you know that the situation will end in praise. Beloved, you need patience in other to uphold your faith.
