“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:24 (KJV)
We are in a time and season that abnormality is fast becoming normal. The fact that society is applauding an action does not make it right. The last time I checked, the Bible still made it clear that a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to His wife. Marriage is God’s idea and He has the blueprint. So, if your marriage must succeed, you must build according to the owner’s manual – the Bible. God made marriage between Man and Woman, between Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve or Eve and Evelyn.
Today as we celebrate our 40th anniversary, I feel impressed in my spirit to pray for families. Indeed how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity (Ps. 133). This unity must start from the home – there must be unity between husband and wife and between parents and children. This is the unity that spreads to the church, the society and indeed the nation. If there is no peace in the home, we cannot expect peace in the nation. It has been rightly said that a hurting person hurts others. You cannot give what you do not have. If you must give peace, you must have peace and to have peace, you need the Prince of Peace in your life and that is Jesus.

As we celebrate today, I bless your home. I declare the peace of God to permeate through you into your home. I bless you and all those connected to you. I declare over your home that you will see your dreams and desires come to pass. Your home will be a blessing to everyone that comes in contact with you. The plan, purpose and design of God for your home will manifest. You will not be denied In Jesus’ name.
If you are not yet married, I speak into your future that your home will be a haven where men will come and find peace. I pray for those trusting God for the fruit of the womb that God will bless you and none shall be barren in your land In Jesus’ name.
