“And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:”
Judges 11:5 KJV

When Jephthah’s brethren sent him away in Judges 11:2, they believed they had closed his destiny. They believed there was no more chance for him. After all, he didn’t know any person out there. But when you read the scriptures in Judges 11:1, you will discover that God had already spoken and prepared him as a “mighty man of valour” Ever before his brothers sent him away, God knew there were enemies that would fight and He had to prepare his servant Jephthah in advance for the confrontation. When preparation meets with opportunity, there is no way you would lose, because you are already prepared. So, by the time war came, no one was able to fight. It was only Jephthah that was prepared at the backside of the desert.

Children sent him away, but elders went to look for him. Some of you are there wondering what’s going on with you. You don’t even know that God is preparing you. There is a word that has been released on your behalf. There is a prophetic word that has gone ahead of you which can never fall to the ground. If God has said it, He will do it. If He has spoken it, He will bring it to pass.

Can you imagine looking throughout the whole of Gilead, and no one was ready and prepared to fight the battle. And then God says, “I have a ‘joker.’ I hid him from you!  You sent him away, but I was hiding him.” Some of you right now, are being hidden by the King. No one is celebrating you. The lights are not on. There is no television camera. No testimony and no fliers. You are hidden away. But you are about to come out to manifest the glory of God.
