FULFILLING GOD’S WILL IN YOUR SPHERE OF INFLUENCE

*Jeremiah 1:5, 7-8

• “I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations.” …, “Do not say that you are too young…Do not be afraid of them, for I will…protect you. … …Then the LORD reached out, touched my lips, and said… Today I give you authority over nations and kingdoms to uproot and to pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”

As God’s messenger, God chose Jeremiah before he was born to declare His will and purpose to the nations. You too were chosen by God before you were born to declare and fulfill God’s will and purpose where God has placed you. A nation is not just a country or people in a geographical location; it also refers to various fields, areas and spheres of influence in society. Areas like politics/ government, business, family, education, sports, entertainment, media, the church, health, etc.

As a child of God, you are not in that sphere of influence just to earn a living. You are there to ensure that God’s kingdom comes into that sphere and His will is being done there. You are a messenger for God to influence and transform that sphere into God’s original purpose.

As you go with this mindset, God will reveal to you the type of things He wants you to do there. There are things in that sphere of influence that God wants to use you to uproot, pull down, destroy and overthrow. And there are things God wants to use you to build and to plant in that sphere of influence. As God stirs your heart to these things, do not be afraid and do not give any excuse. In Christ, God has empowered you for this great mission. God has confidence in you.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for empowering me and sending me to fulfill your will in my sphere of influence. I yield myself to you.
