GET INTO THE WORD

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

Mark 13:31 NKJV

It is very important that you to get into the Word of God like never before. If you are going to be a recipient of divine revelation, you must understand that they come from the Word of God. Therefore, you must make it a habit to get into the scriptures. Find out what the Word has to say about every area of your life. The Word of God has the answer and it works.

In our text, Jesus makes a very emphatic statement that even if the whole world passes away, the Word of God will forever stand. This statement by Jesus is the truth because this same Word has been passed down from generation to generation across the entire globe and it is still standing sure. Beloved, what other foundation do you want to build on or turn to for answers other than the everlasting Word of God?

One thing you must realize is that the devil is still in the business of gradually removing the believer’s fervency to study the Word and making believers prioritize everything else. You must not allow him succeed. Be like the Berean Christians who go back home after the service to study and check out the things they’ve been taught. Learn to discover the Word for yourself. There is a Word for every situation and that Word is more potent than anything else. It is the Word of God that makes us wise and gives us understanding (Psalms 119:98-99). It is the Word of God that gives us insight and direction (Psalms 119:105). It is the Word of God that gives us stability in the face of adversity (Matthew 7:24-28).

Child of God, the Word of God is what you need to live victoriously. So, get into the Word. The only thing you are permitted to be gluttonous about is the Word of God. Read the word!  Meditate on The Word! Speak the Word to yourself and you will see the Word manifest in your life!
