Get More of God’s Light for that Situation

John 1:4-5 (LB), Ephesians 1:16-19 (GNB)
Eternal life is in him, and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness—and the darkness can never extinguish it. *… I remember you in my prayers and ask the … the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit, who will … reveal God to you, so that you will know him. I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know … the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people, and how very great is his power at work in us who believe…

Darkness dose not negotiate with light.when light ci, darkness has no option but to flee. I see God’s light eliminating every situation that stands in the way of God’s will for you and replacing it with God’s perfect will and plan for your life. Nothing can stand the light of God. God wants you to desire more of His light. The Bible describes God as the Father of lights that gives us good and perfect gifts (James 1:17). As the light of God concerning that situation shines into your heart, you will experience God’s perfect will manifesting in that situation.

A major source of God’s light is the revelation of Him word. The entrance of God’s word gives light (Psa.119:130). Its revelation activates and stirs up the light of God that is in the life of Christ in us. Just as light enhance vision, your eyes will be opened to God’s mighty power and solutions, as the light of God fills your heart.

Concerning the woman who had an issue of blood, the Bible informs us that she had suffered many things at the hands of physicians and had spent all she had. Instead of getting better, her situation grew even worse. But thank God that she heard about Jesus and then she received light. She knew what to do for her situation to be resolved and indeed it was resolved (Mark 5:26-29). As you pay attention to God’s word, like a light shining in a dark place, God’s glory will arise within your hearts and in that situation (2Pet.1:19). God did not complain about the darkness and void on the earth in the beginning. Instead he declared, “Let there be light” and there was light! Light is a weapon. Romans 13:12 refers to putting in the weapon of light. Received the revelation of God’s word and wage war with it. Meditate on it, declare it, pray in line with it and act in line with it. You will have a great testimony.

Prayer Focus:
Ask God to fill you with His light and truth concerning your life and that situation. Declare that God’s light is prevailing in that situation.
