GOD CARES FOR YOU

1Peter 5:6-7 (KJV, TPT)

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. *If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, he will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in his hands. Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.

God wants you to trust and rely on His great love and care for you. He doesn’t want you to be worried and anxious about anything. Instead, He wants you to always pray about everything and thank Him because you know He cares for you and He will grant you your heart desires, (Phil.4:6). Psalms 55:22 says, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalms 121:3 (CEV) says, “The LORD is your protector, and he won’t go to sleep or let you stumble.”

By what Jesus did by dying on the Cross for you, you now have the same access to God the Father that Jesus has. That’s why he said: “At that time you will ask (pray) in My Name; and I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf [for it will be unnecessary]. For the Father Himself [tenderly] loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from the Father,” – John 16:26-27 (AMPC)

The way to show God that you trust in His love and care for you is by casting all your cares on Him and refusing to doubt and keep worrying about them. The Birds of the air do not sow or reap or gather into barns but your Heavenly Father sustains and takes care of them. You are far more valuable to Him than the birds, (Matt.6:26).

Action Point:
Thank God for the great love and care He has towards you. Commit every desire and burden in your heart to Him.
