GOD DOES NOT CONDEMN YOU
“She said, no man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more.”
John 8:10 (KJV)
Often, I have noticed that some church folks turn the fundamental biblical truth upside down. For instance, you hear people suggest that you have to be cleansed before you come to Jesus. That means you have to go and clean yourself first, then come and receive “no condemnation.” But that is not the way God operates. God says come and receive “no condemnation” first, then you can go and sin no more. That is what grace is all about!
Many people are living in bondage and they are not enjoying the Christian life. For such people, their Christian life is not vibrant. It is not exciting, and they are like somebody who has just taken lemon juice.
God has given me some unusual revelation concerning His grace and I am so excited about it. Since God began to open my eyes to the revelation of Grace, I feel sad for a lot of Christians generally. Ignorance is bad. It is a terrible thing. It is even worse when you don’t know, and you think you know. A believer in Christ is no more under the law but under the grace of God. His grace is sufficient for you.
Beloved, Christianity is supposed to be exciting. Sin or no sin, God still loves you. Somebody will say, that is a license to sin. But that is not true. The Bible says in Romans 6:14, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law but under grace.” So, if sin is still having dominion over you, then you are still under the law. You are not under grace. Grace will give you liberty and victory from sin. It is the goodness of God that leads to repentance. When God does good for you, you will naturally respond by worshipping him.
Beloved, do not condemn yourself because God will not condemn you. Enjoy Jesus. He loves you and He is not through with you yet!
