GOD DOES NOT IMPUTE SIN UPON YOU.
“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” Hebrews 8:12 KJV
Now this thing that God did is difficult to believe. You see, sometimes we miss it as believers. We make mistakes and we fall into transgression. For this reason, we find it difficult to believe that we are right with God. However, God has already declared that He will not remember our mistakes because Jesus took care of them on the cross.
On the cross, Jesus took on the iniquities of the world on Himself. None was remaining. There was no sin that Jesus didn’t put on Himself. “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool” (Hebrews 10:12-13 KJV). Jesus had offered one perfect sacrifice for sin. Your past, your present and your future sins were all put on Him. And after He had offered one sacrifice for sin forever, He sat down at the right hand of God. Henceforth, expecting that since that He had done it, you will make your enemy your foot stool. You have the authority to say no to the enemy by virtue of the price that has been paid.
Whatever challenge that comes your way, you have the authority to say no because the price has been paid on your behalf. The psalmist declared the blessedness of God’s perfect forgiveness. “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity…” (Psalm 32:1-2 KJV).
We are that generation that God does not impute sin on. He will never impute sin ever again on us because it has been imputed on Jesus. And so, we walk in righteousness consciousness. Wake up with righteousness consciousness. Wake up in the morning and know that you are always right with God and He enjoys your presence.
