BIBLE READING: 1 Chronicles 4-6

TEXT: “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” Genesis 6 :8.

Rhema for Living 2 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE

Grace distinguishes a man. It makes a man escapes danger no matter how certain it is. God Almighty was determined to destroy the earth with flood due to the wickedness of man but grace set Noah aside. Grace put an exemption on him and that extended to his household. God said, “The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”

Gen. 6 :13. But the same God said to Noah, “Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark…

And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.” Gen. 6 :14; Gen. 7 :1. “And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.” Gen. 7 :7. They were secured because of the grace of God.

Child of God, in this world of extreme wickedness and evil, what one needs is grace. It is grace on a man that shields and exempts him from the doom on others.

Scripture says in 1 John 5 :19; “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”

The world is full of evil, to survive in it, you have to know that it is because you are of God with His grace upon your life. When grace is on you, wickedness however it attempts, just cannot penetrate your life. The grace of God is what makes one’s life a touch not zone.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let your grace distinguish me.
