“The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.”
Psalms 145:9 KJV
God wants you to approach Him based on His goodness. God is a good God. In fact, when we get to heaven, we will keep on asking Him: ‘Why are you so good?’ He did not decide to be good because you are good to Him. No! He decided to be good because He is good. He does not know how not to be good. He will do you good today.
According to Romans 5: 6-8: “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”.
The goodness of God is revealed in the price He paid for our salvation. The day you start feeding on the goodness of God for you; your struggle, stress, frustration and discouragement will cease. He said that the birds of the air do not sow and they do not reap but he takes care of them. ‘Consider the lilies of the field which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven. They do not struggle to be beautiful. How much more you that are my children. Take no thought saying, what shall I eat, what shall I drink, what shall I put on?’
The greatest demonstration of God’s love for you is that while you were not qualified, He died for you. The cross is an evidence of God’s love for humanity. Romans 8:32 says “He who spared not His own Son, but gave Him up for us, how can he not with Him also freely give us all things”. What you are struggling to get is a free gift. Healing, deliverance, victory, breakthrough, open doors, children and husband are free gifts. Whatever your needs may be, it’s a free gift. You may ask, but why am I not getting it? It is because you’re not believing. All He is asking you to do is, believe!
