GOD MAKES ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL FOR HIS CHILDREN
‘’And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.’’ Genesis 2:8 KJV
Grace is God’s unmerited favour. Grace is unearned! It is God’s disposition to show us good. It is not about what you did right or wrong but who God is. He chose to be good to humanity. He gives rain and sunshine both to the good and the bad. He gives us everything good. The Bible tells us that: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17 KJV).
God is the one who gives you air to breathe. Ain’t you glad that He did not shut down air for few people? Everyone has access to free air- that is God’s goodness! You can sleep and wake up; it is God’s goodness. He is a good God! He makes all things beautiful for His children and it is not predicated on what you do.
Before Adam was created, God made everything that was essential for Adam and Eve to survive. They did not beg Him. Even when Adam blew it, God was still pursuing Adam, showing that He wanted to do him good. Grace is God’s unmerited favour. God met Abraham at the night time of his life. Abraham had no child and never believed it could happen. To him, that chapter was closed. But God came and told him: ‘’your life is just about to begin.’’ Abraham was 75 years old at the time of his encounter with God. That is why no one has a right to shut down your life.
As long as you are breathing, don’t ever shut down. Keep on dreaming! If you have dreamt before, dream again. God kept you alive for a purpose. You may be 80, but that does not mean that your life has come to an end. As long as you are still breathing, you still have something to contribute. That is how our God operates!
