TEXT: “Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.” Psalms 71 :20.

Who has ruled you off that nothing good shall spring out from your life? Who has concluded on you that you will drown in that problem? Who has drawn that curtains on you that you are defeated in life?

Child of God, even if everyone concluded on you, so long you do not conclude on yourself and in your God, you are coming out victorious.

If you look critically at our an hir text, you will see the position of backwardness, nothing less Ness, reduction, victimization, affliction, oppression, degradation that the Psalmist was in.

Scripture called it “the depths of the earth.” He was indeed at a-nobody level, yet he had hope and faith in the God of Again who specializes in rewriting the stories of His beloved positively to quicken him and bring him up again to where he ought to be as the city set upon a hill which cannot be hid.

Believers are to shine for the world to emulate. They are to lift up the banner of Christ. And that cannot be done in a pit of embarrassment, humiliation, mockery or disgrace. Light of the world radiant the glory of the Lord. They showcase the marvelous works of the Lord. So you see why the God of Again cannot afford to waste His great resource which is you by leaving you down there. You are His investment.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, quicken me and bring me up again to glory.
