TEXT: “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease”. Job 14 :7.

Rhema For Living 18 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE

Child of God, don’t give up on yourself; hope again because you have a god of restoration who restores the years that the locust, caterpillar, cankerworm and palmerworm had eaten, bringing His children to their original destiny of eating in plenty and not to be ashamed, Job 2 :25 – 26. That situation can turn around in your favour if only you can believe in the God of Again who with Him, all things are possible, and also possible to him that believeth ( Mark 10 :27; Mark 9 :23).

The enemy wants you frustrated and defeated so he can lord over you but if you can arise and still look up to the creator who created you for honour, to bring glory to His name, you will see that there is more that are for you than the situation that you think is against you.

The prodigal son in Luke 15; spent his inheritance through riotous living. He was guilty of the situation of hardship he was in and he would have died there if not for a day that he came to himself and said, “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee” Vs. 18.

And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. The father said to his servants, “Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and out a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry” Luke 15 :22 – 24.

Job 22 :23; says, “If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up…” Don’t remain in that condition of defeat. No! Arise! Encourage yourself in the Lord as David and you will recover all.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I refuse every situation of defeat. In you, there is restoration.
