GOD WILL DEAL WITH THE TARES

“Another parable he put forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way”. Matthew 13:24-25 (KJV)

The man in the parable sowed good seeds but the enemy came in an unguarded moment and sowed tares. But the news is that God has said that He will deal with the tares. “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matthew 13:30 (KJV).

Allow God to deal with the tares in your life. He will do a better job than you would ever do. You sowed in good seed, you raised up your children well, and yet, look at the challenge! Leave them in God’s hand, He knows what to do. When you find yourself in a situation where you don’t know what to do, don’t put your hand in it. Rather, seek the One who knows what to do. You will be shocked to know how many people have put their hands into a problem because they put their hands into what they don’t know. They are given all kinds of predictions and all kinds of suggestions which they don’t know anything about.

An enemy has done it! Allow the One who has the authority to stop the enemy to handle it. Allow Jesus who came to destroy the works of the devil to deal with the matter. According to the scriptures, the servants said: “…Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?” (Matthew 13:28 KJV). In other words, do you want us to put our hands there? Should we use hot water? Should we use this or use that? How dare you think that you can have an answer for something that you don’t even know about. Then he said: “…Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.” (Matthew 13:29 KJV).

You see that! You are going to cause more damage if you put your hand in it. God is at work. He will arise on your behalf! Rest in Him! He will turn it around in your favor.
