GOD WILL PRESERVE YOU AS YOU JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE
2Samuel 22:3 & 32 (GNB), Luke 10:19
My God is my protection, and with him I am safe. He protects me like a shield; he defends me and keeps me safe. He is my savior; he protects me and saves me from violence. *The LORD alone is God; God alone is our defense. This God is my strong refuge; he makes my pathway safe. *…I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
As we continue studying about God’s promises of divine preservation, I pray that your faith in God’s commitment to keep and preserve you will grow stronger than ever before. Like our first text above says, as you journey through life, the Lord will preserve you and your pathway will be safe. There is something God did for the children of Israel that He will do for you because you are His dear child. “When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm,” (Psa. 105:13-15).
As God divinely sent Joseph into Egypt ahead of the children of Israel to preserve them, God has sent people ahead of you to preserve you, (Psa. 105:16-23, Gen.50:20). Throughout Joseph’s journey, God preserved Him. God will also preserve you and use you to preserve the lives of others.
Do not be afraid. Psalms 91:10-12 says, “There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep thee in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands, and keep you from dashing your foot against a stone.”
Faith Declaration:
I enjoy God’s abundant divine preservation over my life as I move from place to place and from level to level in life.
