GOD WILL PRESERVE YOUR FAITH AS YOU WALK WITH HIM
Jude 1:24-25, Luke 22:31-32
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy…be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. *And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Jesus is a specialist at keeping those whom the Father has given Him, without losing anyone, (John 6:39, John 17:12). As long as your faith is in Jesus, He will keep you and preserve you. Do not put your faith in yourself, in anything or in anyone else. Colossians 1:22-23 says, as you continue in the faith, grounded and settled and not moved away from the hope of the Gospel, Christ Himself will present you holy, unblameable and unreproveable in His sight. Jesus prayed for the preservation of Peter’s faith and Peter’s faith was preserved. Jesus is making intercessions for you right now, (Heb.7:24-25).
God Himself will preserve you by His Spirit. He is at work in you, by His Spirit, making you willing and able to do His will, (Phil.2:13). By the Holy Spirit, God has sealed you unto the day of redemption, (Eph.4:30). Just as God preserved Joseph and delivered him from the pit, from Potiphar’s house and the prison, God will preserve and deliver you out of temptations, (2Pet.2:9).
Sin will not have dominion over you and your love for God will not grow cold. The Lord shall preserve your spirit, soul and body. The Bible says,“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it,” (1Thess. 5:23-24).
Faith Declaration:
My faith is in Christ alone. I am confident that He will preserve me and complete the good work that He has begun in my life.
