GOD’S ANGELS ARE AT YOUR SERVICE

Psalms 91:11-12 (GNB, TPT), Hebrews 1:7 & 14 (GNB)

God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones. *God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. *But about the angels God said, “God makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire.” *… *They are spirits who serve God and are sent by him to help those who are to receive salvation.

As a royal ambassador of Christ and God’s kingdom, God has assigned a special set of His mighty angels to always accompany you. They serve as your security detail, (Psa.34:7, GNB). Our first text above says they defend you from all harm. God has given them charge over you to ensure that you always experience His intervention and saving power in all situations. God wants you to be conscious of the presence and operations of His mighty angels. One of the things that amazed the queen of Sheba when she visited Solomon was his servants, (1Kings 10:5). She was amazed at how they were dressed and how they served. If you too can see the kind of angels God has sent to serve you and how they serve you, you will be amazed. If you knew the amount of angels that God can make available to you, you will be amazed. Jesus said He could ask the Father and the Father will instantly give Him more than twelve legions of angels, (Matt. 26:53).

The angels of God are stronger than the devil’s demons. They that are with us are more than they that are with them, (2Kings 6:16). Psalms 103:20 says the angels of God excel in strength. The Good News Bible describes them as strong and mighty and The Passion Translation describes them as messengers of power and mighty heroes. The angels of God respond to the voice of God’s word (Psa.103:20), not just when God speaks but when you speak or give voice to God’s word too. 2Samuel 14:20 speaks of the wisdom of an angel of God and how they know all things that are in the earth. Just like with Peter and the believers in Acts 12:5-16, as we pray unto God, we shall activate and experience the swift and unbelievable operation of angels

Action Point:
Thank God for His mighty angels assigned to you. Ask God for His intervention where you need it. Boldly declare God’s word over your life.
