God’s Extraordinary Blessings (2)

BIBLE READING: 2 Chronicles 1-3
TEXT: “Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net”. – Luke 5 :5 – 6.

MESSAGE
Unlocking the door of extraordinary blessing is on the platform of obedience. If you can give yourself to obeying divine commands which of course are contrary to the ways of men, you will enter the world of God’s unusual blessings and keep increasing. The
greatest problem of man is obedience. God has kept good in every land for His children, but to have access to them by His Spirit is on the platform of obedience.

No wonder the first condition for Kingdom prosperity in job 36 :11; was obedience. It says, “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasure”. In Genesis 26; Isaac had reason to run like others to Egypt because of the famine in the land, but God gave a command that he shouldn’t. He had a reason to sow in the land where God said he should dwell because there was famine, but God promised that He would bless him in the land (Gen. 26 :3).

So he had to sow in the land and he became very great Gen. 26 :12 – 14. In the scenario of our anchor text, Peter would have remained stranded if he had not obeyed the command of Jesus. He had a reason not to base on his expertise, but he chose to obey divine command and entered the realm of the supernatural which commands extraordinary blessings. The natural mind cannot comprehend the thing of the Spirit. Just give yourself to His command for He is God and you will become a partaker of His
extraordinary blessings.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I position myself correctly to obey You always.
