Rhema for Living 12 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE

It’s so sad to say many people want to enjoy God’s extraordinary blessings but only few are already to serve. One prerequisite for accessing kingdom prosperity in service. That is the second condition in job 36 :11; which says, “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasure”. God created man to serve him. He created all things including man for His pleasure (Rev. 4 :11).

So whatever gives God pleasure demands your service.

Exodus 23 :25; says, “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee”. When God blesses your bread and your water, they overflow. They become extraordinary blessings with no sorrow such as sickness which He has taken away from the midst of thee.

Before Peter entered the realm of extraordinary blessings, he rendered a service to Jesus by giving Him his ship to preach the gospel, the very heart beat of Jesus. He met the heartbeat of Jesus, and in turn Jesus met his desires beyond what he could every imagined. That is why He is God, able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us Eph. 3 :20.

Through service, you can walk in the realm of extraordinary blessings which is the heritage of the seed of Abraham. In that realm, you are not only blessed but also a blessing to others (Gen. 12 :2), not just rich, but an outreach. Through you, people will rejoice at the overwhelming blessing of God in their lives. Our covenant fathers served God and we’re partakers of the blessings of God in uncommon dimension.

Today, we call the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob because they were covenant practitioners who received and displayed the blessings of God by obedience and service.

You can trigger same in your life as you serve Him.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, help me to serve You Lord.
