GOD’S GRACE HAS QUALIFIED YOU.

“And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.” 1 Samuel 16:12 (KJV)

One of the things I have been emphasizing for some time now is the fact that God deals with us on the platform of Grace. Grace is the unmerited favour of God. Favour that we do not deserve.
God deals with us as New Creations. When you understand the message of grace from that standpoint, it empowers you, enables you and strengthens you. This understanding will also make your Christian walk and experience joyful. You won’t have to struggle with it.

Grace is God’s enablement for the race. Grace is God’s ability enabling your ability to do what your ability cannot do. That is what Grace is. Grace is God lavishing his goodness on undeserving people. When you understand this, it immediately takes the pressure off you and puts it on God. The pressure is no more on whether you are qualified or not because you are already prequalified.

David was a product of the Grace of God. David was a man who truly enjoyed Grace because when you look at him; everything about him was the Grace of God. You remember how David was not among those that were called when the prophet Samuel came to Jesse’s house. Jesse never even remembered him. His brothers did not remember him. He was at the backside of the desert fellowshipping with animals. God qualified him as a king when no one wanted him. None of the people who came ahead of him was chosen.

And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are these all your sons?” Suddenly, Jesse remembered saying “There remaineth yet the youngest.” He was not counted in the number. He was discounted but God counted him in. So, they had to bring him. He was anointed King and from that moment forward the hand of God was upon his life. God’s Grace has qualified you! Enjoy His grace!
