GOD’S POWER FOR A GREAT YEAR

Ephesians 3:20-21, 2Peter 1:3

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. *According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

In Christ, God has already given you all the power you need to have a great year. God is for you and together with Christ, God has freely given you all things, (Rom.8:31-32). God has freely given you every power you need to overcome, succeed and prosper in every area of your life this year. God has blessed you with every spiritual blessing you need for every area of your life this year, (Eph.1:3).

God’s Spirit is one of the primary ways He empowers us. God’s Spirit is always at work in you, making you willing and able to do His good will (Phil.2:13). This year, you will be overwhelmed by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will give you immense strength in your inner man (Eph.3:16). This year, you will be more aware of the Spirit and His empowerment in your life.

Another way that God empowers us is by filling us with His wisdom, (Prov.24:5). You will not be confused this year, but will always know what to do because God will continue to fill you with His wisdom as you ask Him for it, (James 1:5). This year, you will operate by the superior wisdom of Christ. You will never feel powerless. God will exceed your expectations this year. This year, you shall be strong and you shall do exploits. You shall be strong both on the outside and on the inside.

Prayer Focus:
Thank God for His mighty power at work in you this year. Thank God for always filling you with His Spirit and His wisdom.
