“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14 NIV).When you live out God’s call on your life, he’ll reward you.
And here’s the best part about that reward: It’ll last forever.
The Bible says, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14 NIV).
I could write a hundred books yet never fully explain all that awaits you in heaven.
But let me start with this: Your prize for fulfilling your calling will be to share everything that God has in heaven. You’ll share his Kingdom, his glory, his power, and more. It’ll all become yours.
Life on earth is a test. God could have just created you and taken you straight to heaven. But he wanted to test your faithfulness. He gives you a few things, like opportunities and relationships, and puts them in your care. Then he says, “Let’s see what you can do with them.” If you’re faithful with a little, then he can trust you with all of his riches, power, and glory for all of eternity in heaven.
The Bible says it like this: “Live the kind of life that pleases God, who calls you to share in his own Kingdom and glory” (1 Thessalonians 2:12 GNT).
Isn’t that an amazing promise?
One day, God will share his Kingdom and his glory with you and me!
So make the most of your calling. Make your life count. Your eternity will be impacted by it.PLAY today’s audio teaching from Pastor RickTalk It Over
