GRACE IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid, how shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” Romans 6:1-2 KJV
When people hear the grace message and take it as a license to sin, it means that something is fundamentally wrong. If you think you can keep indulging in a sinning spree and say: “after all, we are saved by grace,” that will be very stupid. That means you are either unsaved or you never heard the message of grace. According to Titus 2:11-12, the grace of God teaches us to live a godly life. But when you say you are a Christian and you make plans to live a life of sin, then you certainly do not understand grace. You get pregnant and abort it. You get pregnant the second time and abort it and say you’re “living by grace.” This simply means you are not even saved! You need to evaluate your salvation again. It is very important that you check what you hear and have a good understanding of the subject of grace.
When you hear me say that you are discharged, acquitted and the devil cannot appeal the case, it means that you are discharged to live your life for God and enjoy all the good things He has for you. That is what Jesus died to give you. You will not taste the bitter things of life. Sin shall never have dominion over you because you are in Christ and you know better. “…If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away… all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). You have no business with sin. You live your life here to please Him.
As a result of His death, burial and resurrection, prosperity is your portion, success, fruitfulness and peace are yours. You will build that house and buy that car. You will succeed in ministry. You don’t have to cheat in order to receive God’s goodness upon your life. They have been paid for already.
