GRACE QUALIFIES YOU FOR GOD’S BLESSING

‘’And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.’’

Genesis 12: 2-3. KJV

God called out Abraham and said, ‘’I am going to bless you. Through you, the nations of the world will be blessed.’’ And it came to pass. God allowed Abraham to wait until he was 100 years old before the promise came to pass. So, even now, if you are waiting for the manifestation of God’s promises, don’t be tired, and don’t give up. Hold on tenaciously to His promise; don’t fret. He that believes does not make haste. So, never be tired of waiting and trusting God. One thing I know is that you will testify.

God blessed Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just like He said. Even when Jacob was denied all his benefits, God still stepped in. God is always wanting to reach out to us. Religion tells you that you are not qualified but the scandal of grace is that God qualifies the ungodly. Man says, ‘’get it right before I can keep you right.’’ But the grace of God keeps you right before you get it right. That is what I call ‘the scandal of grace.’ That is what grace does. And why does He do that? It is so that we can also express the same to others.

According John 1:16-17: “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (KJV). The law was given but Grace and Truth came. Grace came because Grace is a person. When you encounter Him, things have to turn around. That is why I don’t understand some people who say that they have invited grace into their lives and they are still living anyhow.
