GRACE TO ALWAYS SEE YOURSELF AND OTHERS AS GOD SEES
Acts 9:13-15
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
God does not see people the way that men see, (1Sam.16:7). Men see the past, the physical and the present but God sees potentials, His plan and His purpose in the spirit and in the future. When people saw a harlot in Rahab, God was seeing a woman who will be part of the lineage of Jesus, (Josh.2:1, Matt.1:5, NIV). When Gideon was seeing himself as a weak and fearful loser, God was seeing him as a mighty man of valour, (Judg.6:11-12, 15). When people were seeing a great terrorist in Saul, God was
seeing a great apostle of Christ (as seen in our text above). When people were seeing a little baby in a manger, God was seeing the Savior of the world. When people saw the multitude scattered as sheep with no shepherd, Jesus saw them as God’s harvest, (Matt.9:36-37).

God does not want us to see people according to who they are in the flesh but by who they are in Christ, (2Cor.5:16-17). God wants us to see by His Spirit. Beloved, no matter how you see yourself right now, God sees you as one with Christ and God sees you manifesting the glory and fullness of Christ. One who will do great exploits for Him.
It is not God’s will for anyone to perish, (2Pet.3:9). As we see ourselves and people the way God sees, we will be able to cooperate with God to bring forth the harvest that God sees in us and in them.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please open my eyes by your Spirit and help me to see myself and others the way that you see.
