GRACE TO CLEARLY SEE THE JOY SET BEFORE YOU

HEBREWS 12:2, 1CORINTHIANS 2:9-10 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. *…Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:…

There is a joy that is set before you in every area of your life. There is an expected end that God is bringing you into. There are things that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and minds have not even imagined possible, that God has prepared to bring you into. Right now, God is preparing you for them. Do not give up and do not be weary. Remain faithful. When the servants of the noble man, who went on a journey were told to occupy till their master came, they did not know that by being faithful with the pound they were given, they were going to be promoted and given cities to rule over, (Luke 19:12-17).

Beloved, God has great and amazing things in store for you and He wants to open your eyes to see and know these things. Just like Jesus, as your eyes are opened to the joy that God has set before you, you will be empowered to endure the cross and despise every shame that you may have to face as you remain faithful in yielding to God’s voice and doing His will. The sufferings of this present time cannot be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us, (Rom.8:18). Our light affliction which is but for a moment is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2Cor.4:17) There is hope in your end, (Jer.31:17). I pray that you will clearly see pictures of God’s promises to you and they will motivate you to keep pressing forth, (Hab.2:1-3).

PRAYER:

FATHER, PLEASE OPEN MY EYES TO CLEARLY SEE THE HOPE AND JOY THAT YOU HAVE SET BEFORE ME. FILL MY HEART WITH YOUR PROMISES
