GREAT SIGNS AND WONDERS
 
Acts 5:15, Acts 19:11, Mark 16:17-18 …they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The early believers experienced great manifestations of the mighty power of God among them. After Jesus’ ascension, Mark 16:20 says, “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following Amen”. The signs and wonders they experienced were not their doing but the workings of the LORD Himself through them. God was manifesting signs and wonders to confirm the Gospel that they preached everywhere.
Signs and wonders do not confirm people, they confirm or give testimony to God’s word – the Gospel. As you keep preaching the Gospel, the LORD will Himself will manifest signs and wonders through you! Jesus said it is the Father in Him that does the works, (John 14:10). By faith, we make the move in Christ’s Name, and the Father does the miracle through us. If they were not moving, signs and wonders would not be following them. Acts 5:12 says, “And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people.”  God will do many signs and wonders through your hands.
 
In Matthew 10:8, Jesus told the disciples to freely give what they had freely received (by healing the sick, setting the bound free and raising the dead). Because of Christ you also have been freely endowed with the power of God. Move out and stir up this gift that is within you. God will manifest the resurrection power of His Spirit to testify that Jesus is alive. God still quickens the dead and calls things that be not as though they were, (Rom.4:17).  
 
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for freely endowing me with your mighty power to do signs and wonders. Manifest your power as I preach your word.
